135L X 40D X 50H suitable for balconies and narrow spaces.

We can supply a bespoke wooden Larch Planter with support posts designed to provide stylish and secure support for our living green screens for the utmost privacy.

When planting in the ground is not possible the green screens can be planted in our commercial quality, moveable wooden larch troughs.

Our sustainable Larch trough planters are made by local UK craftsmen to order and are designed to specifically support our living screens. The commercial quality and side panel thickness and mitred joints, ensures that our planters have a professional finish.

The standard size (60 cm front to back) allows additional plants to be planted in front of the living screen, for example perennials, herbs, salad plants and tumbling plants. This not only adds to the aesthetic value of the planting but it also increases the biodiversity and attracts pollinators and birds.

Why we recommend Larch Planters

The  Larch planters are produced to a commercial standard, and although Larch is a more expensive wood option, they are designed and constructed to provide a very long life, with minimal maintenance. For maximun life and sustainability, we prefer to supply Larch planters for use with our screens, for two main reasons.

• Firstly they are all produced by local craftsmen, to order, from sustainably managed UK Larch woodlands.

• Secondly they are made to a high commercial quality standard to ensure maximum life and robustness. We use Larch as they outlast tanalised softwood planters by many years, and instead of using wood impregnated with toxic anti-rot preservatives, Larch produces a natural preservative and does not require treatment to prevent rot. Hence Larch is much better for the environment, as well as for humans and other animals.
• Note: They can be colour stained for more contemporary settings.
