To enhance your garden design we highly recommend water tables thanks to their sensory boosting appeal, even in the smallest outdoor spaces.  They can help pull your whole outdoor scheme together, making a stunning focal point. They're not just lovely to look at – water tables will offer a soothing sound, too, great for masking the sound of traffic. And, they're great for wildlife, attracting butterflies and birds – always a delight to watch.

Corten steel is a material that's bang on trend at the moment, whether it's being used for flowerbed edging, planters, or as a water table. This double-tiered design is a twist on the standard look and has a modern and sculptural quality that we love.

Our beautiful and modern Corten Steel Water Table will blend seamlessly into most outdoor settings and are great alternatives to ponds. 

Their installation is quick and simple. Made from 2mm thick corten steel, our water tables require little maintenance and boast an advanced closed water circuit that helps to prevent blockages. 

The water is gently raised around 50mm above the surface before cascading over in a rill that surrounds the table. The LED light(s) also adds drama and gives this feature another dimension at night time. 

Corten starts out as a blue steel, as soon as Corten Steel is exposed to the elements it will naturally weather and develop a rich eye catching finish.

To maintain the desired finish we recommend appying Owatrol Oil which penetrates through the rusted metal to the sound metal below, isolating it and protecting it from further rusting. When directly used on the rusted surface this penetrating oil drives out moisture and air and stabilises the metal to protect it from future damage whilst leaving a bonding film on the surface. Owatrol Oil maintains the natural rusted look and allows enhanced adhesion, making it perfect as a foundation for primers or finishing coats. It gives excellent adhesion so paint can be applied directly to firm rust once Owatrol Oil has been applied. Owatrol Oil is also heat resistant up to +175°C.

Requirements

A flat and level surface with no protruding points (like hardcore may have), sand or gravel is ideal and assists in levelling.

The power cables, 1x for the pump and one for the LED driver unit, exit the water tabel via the overflow pipe (underneath the water table) and are approximately 8m. You will need either a weatherproof dual socket with a safety cut-off or, the plugs can be cut-off and the power cables hard-wired into an RCD-type box - THIS IS ONLY FOR ADVISORY PURPOSES, PLEASE CONSULT A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN FOR CORRECT AND LEGAL INSTALLATION.
